Sana Nawaz (often credited as Sana) is a Punjabi/Urdu film actress from Pakistan. She has achieved particular success since the late 1990s. She was introduced in Lollywood by director Syed Noor in his film Sangam in 1997.
Acting career
She started her career as TV actress. A relative of her mother, Shafique Hussain (an assistant producer of PTV) introduced her. Though her debut film, "Jannat Ki Talash" (1999), did not find success, her second film, "Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa" (2002) brought her fame and stardom. Her other movies "Kyun Tumse Itna Pyar Hai" (2005) and "Kaafila" (2007) consolidated her top position in the film industry.
Marriage
Sana married film actor Fakhar Imam in Defence on December 13, 2008.[1].
