Sanze Station (三瀬駅, Sanze-eki) is a JR East railway station located in Tsuruoka, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan.

Lines

Sanze Station is served by the Uetsu Main Line, and is located 123.2 rail kilometers from the terminus of the line at Niitsu Station.

Sanze Station has a single side platform and an island platform connected to the station building by an overpass. The station is unattended.

History

Sanze Station was opened on May 22, 1922. A new station building was completed in November 1981. With the privatization of the JNR on April 1, 1987, the station came under the control of the East Japan Railway Company.
