Scott Richardson Lemmon (January 28, 1968 – May 1, 2004 (age 36))[1] was the author of the Proxomitron web filtering software.

As a testament to the quality and popularity of Scott's work on Proxomitron, a tribute site to his efforts went up after he decided to close the Proxomitron project. The former TechTV network dedicated an entire episode of one of their technology review programs to the Proxomitron application.
