Shilpa Anand (born Shilpa Shivanand) is an Indian model, television and film actress.

Early life[edit]

Shilpa was born in South Africa and did her schooling from there. Later she moved to India and studied at Panjab University from 2000 to 2003, obtaining a Masters in Computer Applications (MCA). She has an elder sister Sakshi Shivanand, also a film actress of South Indian industry.

Career[edit]

Shilpa has done over 40 commercials with many famous Bollywood actors.[1] Shilpa played the role of first riddhima in the show Dill Mill Gayye. The character of Dr Riddhima Gupta was made popular by Jennifer Winget after shilpa left the show for bollywood movies which failed at box office.

In 2012, she played the role of Meera in the anthology series Teri Meri Love Stories.[2] In 2013, she was seen in the film Bloody Isshq.[3]

In 2015, she was seen in the special episode of BIG Magic's show Mahisagar.
