Silsila...Pyaar Ka is an Indian television series that aired on STAR Plus from January to June 2016. It was produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms and starred Abhay Vakil and Chhavi Pandey. It is the Remake of the Star jalsha popular show Tumi Asbe Bole .[1]

Plot

The story revolves around student Raunak Tiwari and his overly possessive mother Janki. Raunak develops a crush on Kajal, a student in the same college and writes her a love letter with the help of his friend Akshay. Raunak's mother finds out and forces Akshay sign the letter with his own name. Kajal is enchanted by the letter and eventually marries Akshay, leaving Raunak feeling betrayed by his friend.

5 year leap

Five years later Akshay and Kajal have had a daughter, Sakshi, who has had health problems since birth. Kajal has since learned how Janaki forced Akshay to sign the love letter that resulted in their marriage. She attempts to mend the broken relationship between Raunak and Akshay.

Akshay forces his way into Raunak's car to apologize to him, but an accident fatally injures Akshay. Janaki is arranging for her son Raunak to marry Munmun, the daughter of her friend Kamini, buy Kajal marries Raunak for the sake of her child and to fulfil the Akshay's dying wish. Janaki refuses to accept her son's marriage. It is revealed that Akshay was killed accidentally in an attempt to murder Raunak. Kajal tries to find the killer. Sanket, Raunak's cousin, tries to hack his bank accounts, but is caught and arrested. The killer is revealed to be Pradeep, Sanket's father.

Pradeep's wife Vidhi vows to take revenge on Janaki with the help of Munmun and Kamini. Janaki pretends to accept Raunak's wife Kajal and her daughter Sakshi, but schemes against them. Kajal comes upon Janaki and her brother Harsh acting suspiciously and follows them to discover Raunak's sick father Randhir, who has been mistreated by Janaki for years. Raunak hates his father as he believes Randhir mistreated his mother when he was a child. Kajal helps Randhir to recover. Janaki attempts to poison Randhir to prevent him revealing her mistreatment of him, but Kajal discovers the poisoned milk and confronts Janaki. Raunak is incesed by Kajal accusing his mother. To prove Janaki's motives Kajal drinks the milk.Raunak shouts at her of blaming her mother but suddenly she cough and her mouth starts bleeding.Kajal became unconscious and Raunak carried her to her room.Later Raunak confront Janki and showed his anger.Jaanki vows to destroy Kajal and start working to get her son back. During this Kajal and Raunak came very close to each other.At last janki turns good and the whole family reunites while Vidhi goes to jail.
