So Jealous is a studio album by Canadian band Tegan and Sara, released on September 14, 2004. It is their third album on Vapor Records, and their fourth overall. One track on the album, "Walking with a Ghost", was later covered by The White Stripes and became the title song of their EP Walking with a Ghost. The album art was created by designer EE Storey.

Writing for Rolling Stone, Meredith Ochs praised the album for its "flashes of brilliance" and said that it probably marks the beginning of a successful career. She noted the progression from Tegan and Sara's previous "indie-folk" albums to a more "buoyant punk-pop" sound, inspired by 1980s pop. She cited "Where Does the Good Go" and "Speak Slow" as highlights.[4]
In a review for allmusic, Stephen Thomas Erlewine gave the album a star rating of four out of five. He described it as ambitious and lively, and called it Tegan and Sara's "most satisfying album" yet. He noted a shift in sound from their previous recordings, with what he described as "a heavy dose of new wave sensibility". He commented that although "So Jealous" may be more accessible to a wider audience, Tegan and Sara may still be an "acquired taste".[1] Michael Endelman of Entertainment Weekly gave the album a B+ rating and noted its new wave and rock influences.[2]
Marc Hogan of Pitchfork Media gave the album a negative review, rating it 3.4 out of 10.[3]

Song Placements and Covers
- "So Jealous" was featured in an episode of the TV show Veronica Mars, aptly entitled "Green-Eyed Monster". "I Know I Know I Know" was later used in another episode of the same series, "The Rapes of Graff".
- "So Jealous" was featured in the Showtime series The L Word, in the season three premiere episode "Labia Majora".
- "Where Does the Good Go?" was featured in the popular ABC show Grey's Anatomy, in the fourth episode of the first season, "No Man's Land". This show has also featured "Take Me Anywhere", "Fix You Up", "You Wouldn't Like Me", "I Won't Be Left", and "Downtown" in other episodes.
- "Where Does the Good Go?" also featured throughout the series premiere and season 3 finale of Canadian TV show Being Erica.
- "Walking with a Ghost" was featured in the The CW show One Tree Hill, in the twenty-first episode of its second season, "What Could Have Been". It was also included on a 2006 NBC commercial for the TV series Medium and montage footage on the UK football entertainment show Soccer AM in May 2007. Additionally, it was featured in the 2006 film, These Girls, starring David Boreanaz.
- In 2009, the song "So Jealous" was covered by Canadian hardcore punk band, Cancer Bats, on an EP titled Tour EP.
- In 2008, Chicago punk band Alkaline Trio recorded a cover of "Wake Up Exhausted" and included it as the b-side to their "Help Me" single.
