TL Novelas (also called Telenovelas in Spain) is a Spanish-language cable/satellite channel. It broadcasts only Mexican telenovelas (erroneously translated "soap operas" sometimes); telenovelas end) produced by Televisa, which owns the channel. Six different telenovelas are broadcast each day, repeated four times each, from Monday to Friday. All episodes are repeated again on Saturday and Sunday.
TL Novelas is distributed around the world via 2 feeds- TL Novleas America and TL Novelas Europa.
From 2003-2005 TL Novelas broadcast Mexican films from the Golden Age during the weekends due to complaints about re-running episodes shown during the week of their telenovelas. Some of the films shown pertained to the drama genre, including Donde El Circulo Termina starring Sara Montiel, La Venenosa starring Ana Luisa Peluffo, and Historia de un Abrigo de Mink starring Irasema Dilian and Silvia Pinal.
