The statement submitted by ex-chief justice has no relevance and should be struck out, he is man of the law, and in matters of religion and religious beliefs he has no authority. Moreoverthe fool has files the case in the Bombay Court, so let that process proceed. So please remove the total section on Justice Ahmed. Also do mention the fool and his followers did not march or grieved on the wafat of HH Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, it has been a tradition world over, atleast in Islamic world to grieve on dear departed. And HH Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin was the spiritual father for the Dawoodi Bohras. Badrulj (talk) 15:52, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Article is jumbled up[edit]

Based on the followning Wikipedia Policies

WP:QUOTEFARM

WP:NPOV The page narrative on this page is extremely is confusing, unorganised and jumbled up. A lot information has been duplicated and mismatched. Some references are irrelevant to the text. I propose to organize it in a way best for reading by keeping most of the original text intact - and making it more readable and easy to understand - by providing references & clarity on the subject.

I am making this comment in case any one has any other input. If there are no comments, I will continue to make the proposed edits per WP:BOLD. Muffizainu (talk) 06:28, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There were two sentences saying the same thing, in two different sections. I have merged them for the time being, without losing the information posted by previous editors. The sentences were:

The Raudat Tahera Ceremony[edit] A ceremony was arranged in Raudat Tahera Mumbai on 20th June 2014 (corresponding to 19th Rajab 1432H),[45] while the Syedna was still in full debilitating stroke coupled with mental deficits.[29]

AND

Ceremony video[edit] After Burhanuddin suffered a debilitating stroke in London, a ceremony was organized by Mufaddal Saifuddin and his brothers to declare himself as the Dā'ī. The entire ceremony was recorded in 2011, showing that Burhanuddin could neither speak nor move owing to his stroke and that Mufaddal was never pronounced successor in the ceremony by Burhanuddin . This video was posted by Qutbuddin on YouTube, but then removed after followers of Mufaddal claimed it infringed on their copyrights being the owner of the recorded video.[31] Muffizainu (talk) 03:25, 7 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've arranged the article, pruned the introduction and arranged the paragraphs, by putting everything in to context and chronological order for easy reading and understanding. At the same time, by keeping in mind the positions of both parties to this claim. Muffizainu (talk) 09:21, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I was busy at work and could not read this article. I tagged this article for improvement in WP:MOS. It looks much better but I think article still has large quotes and over details. You know about this topic more than me so you can go ahead with the pruning to match its quality with good wikipedia articles. I will try to help in markup and html editing of this article. --Immmmanuel (talk) 07:05, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

User:Md iet I've shifted the Mughal case to the historical significance section, as it seems to confuse the readers right at the top of the page. Readers who aren't familiar with the subject. Muffizainu (talk) 10:14, 21 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
OK, Thanks, well done.Md iet (talk) 03:33, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Home) was registered way back in Nov 2013 whereas Syedna Burhuddin left for his heavenly abode in Jan 2014. So, going back to point 1, on one hand he stated his sucession was private and he was made promised to only reveal at the correct time. So was that time somewhere in 2013 when the website domain was registered? If it was why weren't the community members notified in Nov 2013? If that wasn't the correct time, it means he did break his promise to Syedna Burhanuddin and revealed his nass to someone else from his family as getting a website up and running with tons of content is surely more than a days work. Not to forget the ass hole had no knowledge on website development and had to rely on his family and other insiders to help him with the setup of the website with the content. So his claims that he kept mum and waited for the correct time to reveal his nass is really baseless! Husain Patanwala (talk) 01:44, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion to change the title of the Wikipedia page[edit]

Suggestion to change the title of the Wikipedia page to: 53rd Syedna succession case (Dawoodi Bohra). Muffizainu (talk) 11:10, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Muffizainu: Agree. Per WP:NDESC (the word "controversy"), WP:PRECISE ("too precise") this page warrants a title-change. Something along the lines of Succession to Muhammad would do here as well, I guess. Succession to the 52nd Dai al-Mutlaq? --Murtaza.aliakbar (talk) 09:35, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies for the delay in responding. The name change seems to be appropriate. I concur. Muffizainu (talk) 07:07, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
