Can we merge this page with ʿĀd as they both are about the same topic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.37.215.72 (talk) 16:27, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

‘Ad is clearly about a person. ʿĀd is clearly about a tribe of people. How are they about the same topic? МандичкаYO 😜 16:39, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support merge: although the current wiki articles seem to discuss two different words, it appears that ‘Ad (this article) is actually the same as the other article title when transliterated correctly. Since ‘Ad (person) is the founder of ‘Ad (tribe) and considering that a separate article for ‘Ad (person) will probably only contain two or three sentences, I would say: merge ‘Ad (person) into ‘Ad (tribe). - HyperGaruda (talk) 21:58, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pseudoscience alert

[edit]

The only in-line ref in this article, refers to Atlantis: The Antediluvian World. This is a pseudoscientific source and thus not really WP:RS. - HyperGaruda (talk) 22:31, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Source

[edit]

First let me say that I think the two articles should be merged. There isn't enough about the person to need a separate article, he's supposedly the progenitor of the people. This source[1] mentions a lot of commentaries on Ad. Doug Weller talk 12:26, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
