Difficulties with the Wikipedia

It is really irritating to have to type: New York Yankees,
note [1957 New York Yankees season|New York Yankees],
and Milwaukee Braves,
note [1957 Milwaukee Braves season|Milwaukee Braves],
when New York Yankees,
and Milwaukee Braves ought to work.
