Darn it, Parutakupiu, you edit-conflicted me with your copyedit! Oh well, I'm sure you did a better job than I did anyway!

One issue I have here is with the African boycott. I'm not sure whether this is the place for such a paragraph, unless of course a reference to the medals won is made. I'm not doubting that this simple phrase can be added, but without that qualifier, it looks very out of place! Maybe someone who's done a little research can help. I agree that we should try and tie in the boycott. However, a lot of what we could say would be unsourced. However, we could mention that several nations did considerably better than they did in 1972 and seven less nations won medals. Any better ideasÉ -- Scorpion0422 23:24, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
