Contested deletion
[edit]- @Crow: This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... this is a work in progress. I can see the original poster already started making edits to comply with Wiki guidelines and has summarized the paragraphs where issue was taken. This a highly relevant topic (even today) and a piece of financial history that should not go ignored / deleted. I am happy to provide additional assistance here! --Peonydynasty (talk) 21:49, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Crow: Also, this is also not a copy written source. It is a working paper. Nowhere on the publication is there any permissioning or copyright stipulations. Based on this, can you remove deletion? Thank you for the help Peonydynasty (talk) 22:11, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- Here is the comparison to the source of the copied material: [1]. I will remove the deletion tag, since you have actively edited the page to help, but I must also remove the copied material. It is a legal requirement we have very little leeway on. As far as the lack of a copyright statement, you should always assume material is copyrighted unless there is a permission release explicitly stated. According to the terms of the Berne Convention, as soon as creative content is fixed to a tangible medium (paper or electronically), it becomes copyrighted. CrowCaw 22:21, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
