[edit]In his own memoirs (see referance in the article) he states he took command after Hube, so the below line i have removed as it would appear to be incorrect:
- General of Infantry Kurt von der Chevallerie (April 21, 1944 - May 18, 1944)

Order of battle?
[edit]It'd be great to have this large unit's order of battle at different stages in its history. Does anyone has verifiable sources with this info? Also IMHO it needs a bit of reformatting/wikifying.

- Still after sources to improve this article. Any hints? Thanks, DPdH (talk) 07:28, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
Shouldn't this be moved?
[edit]Are there other "1st Panzer Armies" besides the German one? If not, should not this be moved to simply "1st Panzer Army"? TaintedMustard (talk) 06:33, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- The English military term Panzer, a German loanword, is about exclusively used in relation to German stuff. Therefore this is the only 1st Panzer Army; e.g. the Soviet Union instead having the 1st Tank Army. ...GELongstreet (talk) 23:13, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
