Info on Jockey

[edit]

I am thinking about editing this stub. I would like to add important details and information on the jockey and the winning racer. My source is from a book published by the University of North Carolina. Foxy.uky (talk) 13:32, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Add information about Monarchos position during race

[edit]

Monarchos was said to have peaked in a race that was won in Florida. Jorge Chavez and his horse then duplicated that same move when he had blown past 6 horses to win by four and three quarters length awarding him the second fastest time ever ran in the Kentucky derby. This source would be useful in understanding just how exciting this race was. [1]Phillip2372 (talk) 14:43, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
