Roster

[edit]

The roster as it is doesn't show every player that was on the team during the season. The roster is an ever-changing thing and because of that, it doesn't make sense to grab the "snapshot" of it at the end of the season, just as it doesn't make sense to grab a "snapshot" of it at the start of the season. The information as to what players were on the team is located in the statistics section. — X96lee15 (talk) 17:23, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Final series

[edit]

If you were writing prose as to the result of the season, you would say, "the Pistons lost in the ECF four games to two". Therefore, the infobox should be listed as "eliminated 4-2". The link you provided didn't show anything to validate your change. – X96lee15 (talk) 17:23, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The own score always comes first, win or lose. Check this. And no, you would say "the Pistons lost in the ECF 2 games to 4". ● 8~Hype @ 17:25, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree. If you google the term "lost four games to two" or "lost 4 games to 2", you see about 1,000 results. If you google the term "lost two games to four" or "lost 2 games to 4" you see 1 result. Since the infobox should be a summary of what is in the article, I believe it should read "eliminated 4-2".
Also, please refrain from calling my edits "vandalism" in edit summaries. The edits I've made definitely do not fall under wp:vandal. — X96lee15 (talk) 03:29, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
