The link goes to a Champ Car race that just happened to use the same circuit and doesn't discuss any ALMS events. Will (Talk - contribs) 03:59, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The link describes all events that take place at the Long Beach Grand Prix, but it does need some updating and expansion. Nothing wrong with the link. The359 (talk) 04:25, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

P2 points

[edit]

Why have third place getters from St. Petersburg, Sascha Maassen and Patrick Long been assigned the points of a fourth place finish? --Falcadore (talk) 21:48, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mistake. The359 (talk) 22:49, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Seems ALMS made the mistake too. [1] Couldn't find reference to a penalty. --Falcadore (talk) 10:35, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure it's not a penalty since, as far as I'm aware, the ALMS never takes partial points away. You either lose it all or nothing. The359 (talk) 16:09, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It was a penalty, it was mentioned on Radio Le Mans during the Long Beach broadcasts and it related to a late-race incident during the St Petersburg race. 188.24.90.244 (talk) 16:39, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

All round 9 points have'nt been updated on the drivers standings sheet so if anyone wants to edit it feel free to do so as I might'nt be able to finish it off tomorrow. --Danny 93 (talk) 21:14, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was away at the Grand-Am race in New Jersey so I was unable to update Wikipedia. I'll get to correcting everything soon. The359 (talk) 00:53, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

LMP1 in Detroit

[edit]

Intersport won the race after the Audi #1 was excluded (failed to meet the minimum weight in post-race technical inspection) : http://www.americanlemans.com/News/Article.aspx?ID=4759 Woodcote (talk) 14:03, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So Intersport racing won? lol --Danny 93 (talk) 16:45, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
