Rally Scotland

[edit]

With the result of Meeke exclusion from the event Peugeot say that they will appeal so it may be wise to hang off completing the results table until we know more. Not sure what others think? Bjmullan (talk) 17:33, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Have results been announced, pending the exclusion appeal? If so, add to the table, and adjust afterwards if the appeal is upheld. Use text to indicate the results may not be final because of the exclusion appeal. --Falcadore (talk) 04:23, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Peugeot UK do not plan to appeal it. [1] Cs-wolves(talk) 14:35, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The IRC website is showing Meeke with 60 points and not the 56 shown here and is showing his best of 7 to be 60 points as well. The footnote on the points table is therefore wrong? Bjmullan (talk) 09:49, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

More Rally Scotland - Subarus

[edit]

Unlike in 2010, Subaru were not registered for IRC points in 2009. I thought this meant no Subaru driver could score IRC points. However, in Scotland, Jock Armstrong and Sébastien Rousseaux finished 4th and 7th, and are shown in this article as having scored IRC points. Is this correct? The only place I can find with final standings for either the rally or championship is eWRC-results.com which does not show either Subaru driver as having scored points. Does anybody have a good enough memory to remember the official results? - mspete93 22:43, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This had the results for the IRC-registered cars after Bogie's crash on Loch Ard. Just a few tweaks needed for the table. Cs-wolves(talk) 01:36, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Drivers standings table

[edit]

The drivers standings table has positions marked for each rally of the season. The positions marked are not the IRC championship positions but are the overall positions within the particular rally. In my opinion the positions should be switched to the IRC ones, as this has the most relevance to this page. At the moment for example you have a value for Meeke on the Asturias rally of 4 but coloured silver to show second place! Oggmunster (talk) 15:35, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Completely agree that this is misleading and makes the page appear incorrect. I take it what happened is that the drivers who finished the rally 2nd and 3rd were not IRC competitors? As this article is about the IRC season, I think you're right that we should be giving the IRC results, so Kris Meeke should be given the "2" as well as shaded silver. The full results should only appear at the article for the actual rally. Matthewedwards :  Chat  03:43, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
