Summit preparations[edit]

This section has been copied from Talk:Tenmei#Summit preparations.

Hello, I noticed you've created the preparations page already. But as of now I sort of have second thoughts as to whether there really should be a separate article for preparations. The preparations section in the main article seems to look much simplified to be described in one article. In the meantime, I feel preparations of the summit isn't all that notable enough to have it's own page, but if you could expand that page a lot larger than the preparations section of the main article, that could probably better justify the split. εεℓαм sтуℓεz (talk) 19:16, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Yes, it is a work in progress.
If you look again at the stub 2010 G-20 Toronto summit preparations which has been created, I would hope you will notice that a number of sources are cited which do not at present appear in 2010 G-20 Toronto summit. A different foundation in reliable sources would seem necessary for each of these two articles. In addition, the organizational strategy is not the same.
I hope you will keep this draft on your watch list.
In my view, the creation of 2010 G-20 Toronto summit protests almost begs the sorts of questions which the "preparations" article needs to address.
In other words, the purpose of Integrated Security Unit planning was to mitigate some of the problems which developed. The high cost of the summits makes it likely that political forces in Canada will continue to discuss and investigate this subject in the near future. If so, you were prescient in suggesting this article should be written. If so, this modest beginning would seem to be a good step in a constructive direction.
Please join me in following whatever happens next.--Tenmei (talk) 19:29, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
I think that sounds fine. All Toronto summit pages are in my watchlist now. εεℓαм sтуℓεz (talk) 01:27, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Copyedit[edit]

As it currently stands, this article is in need of updating and copyediting. The lead in particular isn't phrased very well. PKT(alk) 01:42, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
