Casey Stoner

[edit]

Stoner racing V8 Supercar is NOT official, Casey himself has denied the story. The news story appears to have come from a violated embargo based on a story prepared for the Clipsal 500 race program in case Stoner and Triple 8 come to an arrangement in order that program can be printed in time. [1] So I have removed the story. --Falcadore (talk) 08:46, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, he confirmed the move and has been added to the table. However, even though he traditionally uses the number 27, and the original reports suggested that he would continue to use it, his number is currently listed as "TBA". There are two reasons for this: firstly, the number he would use is not mentioned in any of the articles where he confirms his move to the series. And secondly, the number 27 was used by MW Motosport (for the Blanchard/Barbour/Harber entry) throughout 2012. They currently own the number 27, so Triple Eight would have to acquire it from them. Until such time as they confirm that they have, Stoner's entry should be listed with its number as TBA. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 08:36, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Finance Ezi Racing / Dick Johnson Racing

[edit]

Maurice Pickering has severed his connections with DJR, there has been a multitude of stories in this subject and none of the stories written then, or since say anything about the Finance Ezi cars being DJR-run. They say the two Fords were built by DJR, they were I think Steven Johnson and James Moffat's cars last year, but that's it. --Falcadore (talk) 13:45, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stats creep

[edit]

Why has the calendar acquired a pole position column? --Falcadore (talk) 01:58, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Calendar table

[edit]

As the individual race results are covered in the matrix, I propose converting the calendar table so Round results are indicated (co-incidentally like all 14 previous Dunlop Series seasons). Unlike the parent series Round results are given precedence over individual race results, and this would not be indicated otherwise. --Falcadore (talk) 10:19, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
