Undercard results

[edit]

I think undercard results should probably not be included, they don't really add much relevant information.Fpwlada (talk) 15:17, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Participants clarity

[edit]

A few comments on the "Participants" sections in both weights that I think should be addressed. Since I didn't make the changes, so I am not in the best spot to make the edits. I think that would fall to Kidsoljah and Fpwlada.

  • 1. For the Boxrec pre-tournament positions, can we give a specific date those are based off of? Since the tournaments started on different dates, do each bracket's base off a different date? Was it when the fields were announced? Article gives no idea what pre-tournament means. Probably best to just give a date the time is taken from.
  • 2. As previously indicated, not all fighter were at the tournament weights. For example, Robert Brant and Mike Perez never fought at super middleweight or cruiserweight respectively. In what weight classes were their and everyone else's weights taken from? Probably a note for each fighter not at the tournament class should do.

When I created these, I based the rankings off TBRB rankings. While I think it creates some problems when the rankings body listed is changed without discussion, I don't think it's a big enough deal to raise it here. In other words, I am fine with Boxrec over TBRB for the sake of WP:CIV. However, I do think the ranking list does need cleaned up as mentioned above to be usable.
