merge discussion or rationale?
[edit]There is way too much information to have on one page. This is the format since the 1998 championships so without a rationale for the merge of this year's championship it does not make much sense.18abruce (talk) 15:55, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- Agree. Odd to see a merge proposal but no starting point from the editor who "requested" it. Kante4 (talk) 16:30, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- As noted this is the all-encompassing article for all levels, while the 2021 IIHF World Championship page is specifically for the top level (and Divisions I, II, III all have their own pages, too). No reason to merge, not that there seems to be an argument here to begin with. Kaiser matias (talk) 17:27, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Yeah I think whoever put the merge tag on doesn't realize that this is the over-arching article for all the levels of the World Championships and that there are separate articles for the different levels as having all the information on one page is too much. -DJSasso (talk) 20:33, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
