Membership of Serial Killer task force WikiProject[edit]

I reinstated the Serial Killer task force banner that was removed by user Richard3120 (talk · contribs), who considered it an irrelivant banner, because current consensus is that the scope of this task force includes mass murders within its scope, so this article is of interest to the task force. If you have a differing opinion and still want to remove the banner please explain why you want to take that course of action and discuss the banner's removal first with task force members, and seek their agreement, before removing the banner. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 02:18, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well, my apologies if you were offended, although I still think that there is a huge difference between mass murders committed over time by a serial killer and multiple murders committed simultaneously by terrorists... I really don't see the 9/11 deaths as being committed by serial killers, to be honest. But this isn't worth arguing over so I'm not going to remove the tag again. As the SKTF banner says, it covers mass murders - which is what this article is about. The problem is that the project's name makes it sound like its scope is much narrower than it actually is. Jim Michael (talk) 20:33, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
