Alleged Serbia

Searching for the 814 area code, I found the following text on this page:

The nation of Serbia is formed, allegedly.

Why the contentious language? My first thought that this was a date in Balkan history that gets interpreted different ways depending on what side you're on. So I went to the Serbia article to find out what happened in the year 814. The year isn't even mentioned!

If something important happened in Serbia in the year 814, by all means document it on this page. But do try to make it more clear what happened. Isaac Rabinovitch (talk) 23:42, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
