Tone
[edit]Article has some tone issues and needs to be written in a way that doesn't make it appear to be connected with the group. Movingboxes (talk) 10:37, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Hello - Thank you for your comments
We are a Non-Governmental organization promoting awarness about Global warming in India.
Today I have uploaded some pictures taken during the events to qualify the article
What do you think is the 'tone issue' with the article? Please write your thoughts and I will be happy to review/make the required updates.
Cheers! [Venkat] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Venkatkr (talk • contribs) 11:00, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- Statements like "We have recieved excellent press and feedback from people who now tell us that they know more about global warming than ever before, and agree that they will start the change from themselves" are unencyclopedic because organizations are not supposed to be writing their own articles and all articles should conform with WP:NPOV. If you are connected with this group, I encourage you to read WP:COI. Movingboxes (talk) 11:09, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the note. I hope I have removed the COI text. Please confirm if this looks fine....I am thankful for your time. [Venkat] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Venkatkr (talk • contribs) 17:29, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
