Country?

[edit]

NI is not a country. The UK is. This is pretty standard. You reverted without discussion. I respected the rest of your edit. 'You've been warned about this'. So have you! I wasn't the one who reverted. If you can find an international source which says that NI is a country then fine.Pureditor 12:16, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who says NI isn't a country? What definition of country are you using? Wikipedia describes NI as a constituent country of the UK. Mooretwin (talk) 12:20, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I simply restored the article after some POV vandalism. No need for discussion at that point. If you want to change the article, then you initiate a discussion. Mooretwin (talk) 12:24, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Technically, it's a constituent country. Therefore to avoid POV either way (country / region), the easiest thing to do is to simply change it to "its". --Schcamboaon scéal? 18:20, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seamus Heaney

[edit]

There was an article on today's The_World_at_One that the A6 improvements threaten the farm that Seamus grew up on. There is a protest group - and planners saying that there is no better route.

Not sure quite how to cite this - or whether it is worth mentioning.

This allegation was put forward by protestors, but is not sound in fact.[1]
