It is quite likely that 808 actually is a reference to the Roland TR 808; the notion that 808 refers to penal code would seem to be an urban legend, and I am removing it from this page. Linksgerichtet 05:29, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Disambiguation section was removed without explanation, and since the page 808 (Disambiguation) does not exist, I have put the Disambiguation section back in the article.

The dilemma:

The Disambiguation section may need to be split into a new article named 808 (Disambiguation), but I do not know how to decide if this is warranted.
