Merge with AR15[edit]

This article should be merged with the AR15 article. The AR5.7 is an AR15 derivative, not a unique design, and should be included, along with all the other AR15 derivatives, on that page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.34.152.47 (talk) 04:51, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

PDW not Submachine Gun[edit]

AR-57 is listed under Submachine Guns in the AR-10 Derivatives table. As the AR-57 fires 5.7mm rounds as opposed to regular pistol rounds, it is a Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) not a submachine gun. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.96.5.205 (talk) 22:39, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, the template should include a PDW category. The AR57 and the Honey Badger should be moved to the new category. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Apelinq (talkcontribs) 10:16, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Integrate Ian McCollum source[edit]

Ian McCollum just made a video about this thing at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXnI_tsFs2U. Some interesting parts we can add are: production situation (after death of designer etc.), versions. Artoria2e5 🌉 08:58, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
