The article opens by saying he's born in 65, the picture says he's born in 66. ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.201.34.143 (talk) 09:18, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison to past authors

[edit]

Somebody appears to be having a bit of a gag with this article. I just removed the following sentence from the Career section; "Roberts' science fiction has been praised by many critics both inside and outside the genre, with some of the latter going so far as to describe him as being on a par with such past masters of the genre as Pel Torro, John E. Muller, and Karl Zeigfreid." Not only is the sentence weasely and uncited, but all three named are actually pseudonyms for the same man- Lionel Fanthorpe. Adams wrote that about himself in the "About the Author" section at the end of *High*. U.b.i.k. (talk) 16:48, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
