Cruise missile

[edit]

It appears that, from a number of refs ([1], [2], [3]), the term "aerial torpedo" refers to more of a cruise missile; I suppose that before the "missile" term came into play, it was considered to be a "torpedo" that flew through the air. Perhaps this article should be moved to Air-dropped torpedo or something of the sort? -M.Nelson (talk) 14:59, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that there is a sentence in the intro that addresses this; I will edit that to make it more clear. -M.Nelson (talk) 15:01, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Relative weight of the Falklands War tests

[edit]

A paragraph about tests during the Falklands War was added. In terms of the larger topic of aerial torpedoes, are weaponry tests important enough to be mentioned? Binksternet (talk) 23:58, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
