I will make straighforward copyedits as I go and jot queries below. Please revert if I inadvertently change the meaning. Casliber (talk · contribs) 06:08, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
I was thinking a link to a wiktionary definition for quadrangular might be worthwhile.
...in the society's quarterly journal - I thought the link was going to be to the specific journal, otherwsie I don't think it is helpful
- The journal (now called Journal of the Geological Society[1]) currently doesn't have its own article, so I didn't provide a link.
para 3 in the History section is a little slim. Given the German find sounds like a valuable one, can it be embellished with a sentence or three?
nomen nudum - should be italicised as a foreign (Latin) term (?)
- Yes, you're right about that. Smokeybjb (talk) 16:53, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Overall:
- Pass or Fail: - nice work, prose flows very well I find. You intending to take it to FAC? Casliber (talk · contribs) 20:40, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- That wasn't my original intention, but I might try it out. Thanks for the review! Smokeybjb (talk) 21:02, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
