The list of episodes has been added and removed a few times over the past month. It seems both actions have valid reasons. Given that many television shows have either the episode list or a stand-alone page to show episodes, it doesn't seem consistent to deny this show's list. The argument that this is a game show and a list of contestants and winners is a database should not apply as this is more of a comedic talk show. There is a monologue, the "contestants" are celebrity guests, the points don't matter - because the prizes don't matter.
The episode list should be considered similar to the list of episodes for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert [1] and Whose Line Is It Anyway? [2]. If need be (not recommending, but submitting as a potential compromise), I could see leaving out information about the "Winner", "Runner-up", "Last place", and "Prize" in order to veer away from the main reasons people have for removing all of the information. One column could be for "Contestants" similar to the Whose Line's "Performers" as seen on stage from left to right, or The Late Show's "Guests" in order of appearance. Note also that the Whose Line table indicates that show's "winner(s)" with the name(s) in italics, and that could be done here. Erdrick42 (talk) 19:59, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'd be fine with a list of guests all in one column with the winner in italics then another column for the prize. I listed the occasional fourth "special guests" (non-contestants) in the Format section. TomCat4680 (talk) 20:36, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
