McCune School of Music changeover time
[edit]One item on this page needs to be looked into. I took piano lessons from Miss Gladys Bullock in the McCune School of Music from 1954 to 1957 and then organ lessons from Mr. Mitchell in the summer of 1957. I am pretty sure it was still called the McCune School of Music when I studied there. I think the change to BYU was effected after that time, possibly while I was serving as a missionary for the LDS Church in South America from 1960 to 1962. Rcallen7 (talk) 06:02, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for commenting and contributing information! I see that "McCune School of Music" does appear within the article; the issue is when it changed over from being that to being something else? I would hope that your personal knowledge of timing would lead to someone (us?) identifying a better source that pinpointed that accurately, and then our using that as a source in putting the accurate info into the article. Most Wikipedia editors would prefer to keep only sourced info in an article if there is any disagreement, and not switch to an unsourced contrary assertion. Or to avoid contradiction by simply not taking either side, by rewriting to avoid either assertion. Is that possible here? Not sure if this can be resolved easily. My 2 cents. (Also, i just reset the title of this discussion section to "McCune School of Music changeover time", please change/modify it if this is not properly descriptive of this discussion topic.) Thanks for caring and contributing, already! --doncram 13:32, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
