Merge[edit]

I've tagged the DVD "Alien Youth: The Unplugged Invasion" for merging into this article. I don't think either article is about a notable subject, but the DVD release certainly isn't notable enough for its own article. -- Mikeblas (talk) 13:13, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Skillet is a pretty well-known Christian rock act. They've gotten Grammy nominations and have a substantial fan base. Given that fact, I consider at least this article notable. 209.106.203.252 (talk) 20:44, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think they should be merged. Jabberwockgee (talk) 19:34, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not to mention that they have had their music played on soundtracks for notable television shows such as WWE's Hell in a Cell and Royal Rumble (2010) and Joan of Arcadia[1]. They have also released multiple albums on notable record label Lava Records. This DVD does contain a song from a different album, photos, and a bible study. The DVD's music is unplugged and completely reimagined music for each song.[2]

Skillet is an extremely notable band with high charting albums, any release of theirs is notable and should not be merged. 16:43, 16 November 2009 (NZT) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116Rebel (talkcontribs)

The track listing and music video 'information' (I have never seen a description of a music video on any other page) are the only things on this page that is not noted on the main page for the band. Do we really need another page to list the tracks? I'm not sure. Jabberwockgee (talk) 18:52, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see a music video description on this page, but it might have been changed since then. Also it describes more than just a track list and music video info. The music video included with this DVD isn't even from Alien Youth. I wouldn't see a problem merging the DVD page with the CD if notability of the DVD was the only thing that was considered. The DVD is a completely different project from Alien Youth, different music and more features.
  • Don't Merge- Notable as they are by a notable band and they are separate releases. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:23, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
