"Notable for..."
[edit]I rewrote the phrase that said this school "is notable for being under the direct control of the Director for Vocational Education." That doesn't make the school more notable than other public schools because it would imply that it's the only public school administered by the said Director (which, I presume, is one of the directors of TESDA or the DepEd.
This is incorrect, because by their very nature all public, national schools are under the control of someone in the higher level of the TESDA/DepEd ladder. Besides, this isn't the only school that was created by virtue of a Republic Act (most public national high schools are); in fact, the University of the Philippines has a new charter that was enacted a few months ago in Congress. IMO, the notability of this school (assuming that all issues regarding the notability of schools have been ironed out) should not rest on this very basic fact about the nature of this school's creation and administration (it's like writing a biographic article and asserting notability on a very basic statement such as "this person was born on February 29"), but with something much more substantial than that.
Hence, I edited out the said assertment. --- Tito Pao (talk) 05:32, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
