Possible photo?
[edit]@Slimestone and Justlettersandnumbers: According to [1], this might be a pair of American Blackbelly? I'm not sure enough of the ID to add it to the article, though. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 19:42, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
- Mike Peel, I have little confidence in my ability to recognise a breed of sheep from a photograph, but I'm pretty certain that these are not this sheep. The American Blackbelly is a hair sheep, it does not grow wool; these have a fairly heavy fleece, so must be of some other breed (or cross-breed?). If I had to guess, I'd say they might be Suffolks. The photograph on the website is of some other sheep again. Regards, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 20:00, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for looking, let's see if someone ID's them over on Commons. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 16:12, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
