Explanation of notability

This organization is the predecessor of the National Catholic War Council which evolved into the National Catholic Welfare Council. This progression was an important series of steps leading up to the formation of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops which is the national organization of Roman Catholicism in the United States. --Rudy Waltz (talk) 16:09, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
