[edit]Unless I am very much mistaken, this article reads rather like an advertisement to me! Alaric (talk) 08:57, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
It reads like an advertisement. The neutrality could be questioned in how it refers to the competition using terms like "the big four," which implies this is some common and accepted term, when it doesn't seem to have been the standard at all. It refers these companies and their products as legacy, which strongly implies outdated software. It overall reads like something written to attract new investors and uses a lot of buzzwords. Advertising Flag
[edit]Seems like the advertising/promotion on the page has been removed recently. I've gone through and deleted a lot of links from the page that seemed excessive. The flag has been addressed and should be removed. 71.196.202.120 (talk) 12:51, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
- The issue was never addressed. In fact, previous tags were removed by sockpuppets of undisclosed paid editors. MarioGom (talk) 10:36, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- as of today, the article seems neutral to me, it is worth considering removing the flag. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.102.81.48 (talk • contribs) 06:55, 7 July 2021 (UTC)

Thank you to MarioGom for flagging this page. It looks like a lot of the paid content was removed by MarioGom as well. We should continue removing anything that may have been paid for before taking down the template. I can work on that. Plo0ough (talk) 14:02, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

American/Global
[edit]Anaplan was founded in the UK and is based in 20+ countries. I don't think it should be considered an 'American' company. 65.131.17.198 (talk) 14:00, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- It is headquartered in San Francisco, California, not "20+ countries". See Apple Inc. or about any article about a major company. MarioGom (talk) 15:40, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
Frank A. Calderoni redirected here
[edit]Just a note that I've redirected the above article here, as I couldn't really see any strong claims to independent notability for Calderoni. Most of the content was about companies he has worked for, rather than about him as a person. firefly ( t · c ) 12:44, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

Neutralizing of Article to remove the Paid Editing Tag
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hello. I am Michael, and I'd like to disclose my COI as I work for Anaplan. If possible, I'd like to work with an editor to help neutralize this article as much as possible in order to sufficiently address the tag and remove it from the top of the page. I have included some edits/suggestions below that should put the page in a much more neutral position. If there are other edits that should be made outside of the ones I've suggested, I'd implore you to make those edits if it means addressing the tag in it's entirety.
- Remove: 'In May 2014, Anaplan introduced its marketplace, Anaplan Hub. Using the marketplace, customers can share and find pre-designed planning models.'
- Remove: 'In November, the company was named to Deloitte Technology Fast 500.'
- Remove: Technology section.
Thank you in advance for your help in taking this on. ANApersons (talk) 13:50, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- The requests to remove information appear to be factual statements and I'm not sure if these requests will address the issues with the articles. I would be happy to help edit this story, step one would be to create a clear NPOV summary of the company and its notability. If you have links to clear neutral third party source that could be easily synthesized into an introduction useful to readers please reply in this space. WilsonP NYC (talk) 19:00, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- Understood. My understanding was that this tag was established to notify editors that the neutrality of the article was in question, not so much the general notability of the article. I figured these lines were the least neutral parts of the article, so in an effort to remove the tag, I requested the removal of those lines. Please add or remove whatever you deem necessary in order to address the neutrality of the article, and the tag. This existing source [1] seems to be a good article to draw from in order to create a neutral description of the article if that is what you think is necessary to neutralize the article. Thank you for your help. ANApersons (talk) 13:56, 18 March 2022 (UTC)

- @WilsonP NYC Hello, the article has undergone significant changes since the COI tag was added in 2017, and I propose the COI tag be removed once the Technology section is revised to meet WP:NPOV. I agree, adding neutral information to the lede will strengthen the article, and no reliably sourced, factual information should be removed from it. Heartmusic678 (talk) 14:50, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
- Partly done Based on the above comments, I added more neutral information to the lead to show notability, and did not remove the sourced Technology section. I revised it to have a more neutral tone. I also removed the COI tag due to the changes the page has undergone since the tag was first added. Thanks, Heartmusic678 (talk) 15:24, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
