Title is simply "Anchorhead"

[edit]

I've removed the phrase "(full title: Anchorhead: an Interactive Tale of Lovecraftian Horror)" from the article as I believe it to be wrong. In particular check out the game itself online. It identifies itself as:

>version
ANCHORHEAD
An interactive gothic by Michael S. Gentry

(Type HELP or ABOUT for some useful information.)

Release 5 / Serial number 990206 / Inform v6.15 Library 6/7
Standard interpreter 1.0 (6F) / Library serial number 970918

Neither the open titles of the game nor the version command list "an Interactive Tale of Lovecraftian Horror." (The "An interactive gothic" in the version information is a tagline common to many interactive fiction games and is generally not considered part of the title.) [edit]

I linked to the "interactive fiction" tag at Xtreme Gentification to try and make the link as specific as possible. I'd have preferred the even more specific "anchorhead" tag, but not all of his Anchorhead posts are included in it (like this one). — Alan De Smet | Talk 03:57, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More information on interactive drama experiments?

[edit]

The linked paper ("Search-Based Drama Management in the Interactive Fiction Anchorhead") sounds very interesting. More information on this (maybe even a prototype) would be very welcome. — 85.180.35.148 17:57, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

IFComp ratings

[edit]

Talk:Interactive fiction#Deletion_of_Slouching_Towards_Bedlam_statistics is a nice collected play to discuss the appropriateness of including Interactive Fiction Competition ratings in this article. — Alan De Smet | Talk 00:07, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
