Well, I was in Angleton today, first time ever (I've only been in Texas less than seven months, after all, having moved from Massachusetts), hence my interest in this page.

From the list of "notable residents" -- two cornerbacks, a running back, and one each fullback, linebacker and offensive tackle -- one could conclude that Angleton has some kind of talent for producing football players, but not for anything else, really. Well, maybe this is indeed the case. Or maybe the author of the page just has some kind of bias to the effect that nothing is notable unless it is football-related. (Now, my own bias is quite the reverse: that nothing is notable that is football-related. But, hey, a bias is a bias after all, so who am I to say? ... )

Anyway, if someone can add to the list, and demonstrate that Angleton, TX, also participates in more sophisticated, real-life pursuits, please don't hesitate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.74.121.102 (talk) 03:01, 23 May 2011 (UTC) Toddcs (talk) 03:04, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
