Intro
[edit]Is this second sentence accurate? (my emphasis in bold)
- Antisec is against full disclosure of information ...
Seems like those who fight against security would be for full disclosure, unless I am misunderstanding. If so, then perhaps the intro can be written better. Also, I think the grammar in the start of the third sentence should be improved/re-written: "The general thought behind this is that ..." But since I'm new to this article I wanted to make the suggestion here first. 98.92.189.102 (talk) 00:23, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- The first two sentences of their manifesto are "The purpose of this movement is to encourage a new policy of anti-disclosure among the computer and network security communities. The goal is not to ultimately discourage the publication of all security-related news and developments, but rather, to stop the disclosure of all unknown or non-public exploits and vulnerabilities." so I think they were indeed anti-full disclosure. As to the grammar, if there is a way to make it better, by all means fix it! Improvements are always very welcomed. :) かんぱい! Scapler (talk) 01:08, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
"Ignore the previous description that they were a group exploiting security flaws." ? This might need to be removed, and the intro re-written somewhat, I think. 71.202.36.15 (talk) 04:32, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- That sentence was part of an edit that vandalized this page; I have reverted the vandal and warned him. かんぱい! Scapler (talk) 16:02, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
