Death
[edit](as for now) Wikipedia managed to declare Lotos officially confirmed dead, but in fact all sources that wrote about it are extremely dubious (literally twitter), and do not provide any primary sources for their statements. I insist on canceling the edits about his death, until it is fully confirmed or completely refuted. PLATEL (talk) 14:32, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
- UPD. I will soon make a page about what happened in Mali. According to normal sources like Reuters, AP etc., A lot of Wagner Group members really died there, including an important one (the author of the Gray Zone telegram channel), but Lotos does not appear anywhere among the dead. PLATEL (talk) 14:38, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
- Spiegel too no mention of Yelizarov Braganza (talk) 14:49, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
- and the screenshot says "15 January 2023", its old fake news Braganza (talk) 14:51, 28 July 2024 (UTC)

- I added reliable sources about the versions of what happened to Elizarov in Mali. It turns out that all versions of Elizarov's death are based on some ONE Russian pro-Wagner channel "Svyatosha Broadcasts" https://t.me/svyatosha_info with 5600 subscribers. This is literally the only primary source of all this information about Elizarov's death (here is the source: https://t.me/svyatosha_info/7954). Moreover, in other Russian telegram channels besides this one (and especially in large ones) information about Lotos's death is marked with something like "UPD. Fake, he is alive" (https://t.me/new_militarycolumnist/138478, for example). But these sources also cannot be called reliable. Therefore, I added information from reliable sources like VOA, BBC and RFE/RL, about the versions of what happened to Lotos. If any new information appears from reliable sources, I will add it. - 2/3 of these sources are unreliable (Twitter and Telegram is not a reliable sources, unless there is some extraordinary things). Also, none of these unreliable sources provide any evidence for their statements, other than a 2023 photograph of Yelizarov and Prigozhin crossed out with crosses in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. I doubt about reliability of the third source, since i see this resource for the first time, and there is no mention about the death of Lotos or any information about him, since that is just a small description of whole event.
