What is a flash-cut? Could it be defined either here or in its own article?

Seconded. I came here to ask this exact question. Corvus cornix 17:30, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In light of the future overlay

[edit]

I notice that some overlaid area codes are ordered by creation (Area codes 212, 646, and 332) while others are ordered numerically (Area codes 442 and 760). Personally, when the time comes to area a combined page for area codes 916 and 279, I think it would be more logical to go by order of creation, since 916 is an easily recognizable area code and has been in service since area codes were first created.
