Untitled[edit]

I'm not sure why the graph about collaborations with notable artists such as Moby and Garafoli was deleted as vandalism. This graph would have helped establish the notability of this page. Digit LeBoid 22:32, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Judging from Matthew Baird's discussion page, it seems he has a history of being a vandal who improperly deletes other peoples work, falsely accusing them of vandalism. So I am presuming that there was never any actual basic for his removal of HellKat...'s text, so I have restored it. Digit LeBoid 15:31, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Was I wrong removing the mention of Budweiser? If indeed beer is an important part of Art Stars events, than there should simply be written "beer" and not "Budweiser"...--204.19.5.251 (talk) 18:44, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removal[edit]

I removed the templates marking this article for deletion based on the lack of notability. I have attempted to add further information, including verifiable references to the subject. I hope that they are sufficient to merit the continuation of this topic. I also hope that some of the members of the Art Star community will be able to fill out my information with details that will improve the article. For example, I couldn't find specific information on how long Anti-Slam has been running, or the Mr. L.E.S. contest. Both are long-running events, but I couldn't be specific. Also, someone in the know could probably add more historical context than I possibly could.

I did not remove the third template because I was not sure of the procedure. If we have met the notability requirements, perhaps this can be removed as well. Digit LeBoid 22:56, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"This article does not cite any references or sources." This article contains many references and sources. There is a link to a New York Magazine article (the show goes downtown 5/5/03 p41). That article is titled, "The Art Stars". I am too close to the Art Star scene to edit your article according to the Wikipedia standards but I will help your editors if asked. What exactly do you need?Faceboynyc 21:22, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adding members[edit]

Please don't add members - especially WP:NN members unless they are a significant contributor to the movement and can be backed up as such with WP:RS and are cited. Thanks. The Dissident Aggressor 19:21, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
