Fair use rationale for Image:Atglogo.gif[edit]

Image:Atglogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Added fair use rationale for use on ATG entry, removed warning tag JeffJonez (talk) 20:51, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me, but I put "Searchendising" in quotes, as it is a made up word. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.234.126.103 (talk) 01:38, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Subsidiary[edit]

Hi, sure it is an subsidiarity? The atg.com website says "Copyright Oracle Corporation" and the management team pages and such just mention oracle has acquired them. I'd assume they are integrated. Anybody has facts supporting the one or the other? --93.104.48.17 (talk) 20:58, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

According to the German company register on https://www.unternehmensregister.de "Art Technology Group GmbH" was merged into "ORACLE Deutschland B.V. & Co. KG." I assume the same happend in the U.S. --93.104.53.252 (talk) 11:39, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"operates under its own name as a subsidiary of Oracle." - I don't think that this this is the case anymore. Oracle have continued to use the ATG brand name but that's about all that exists of ATG. It is not a seperate business entity and is part of the Oracle suite. The ATG website now redirects into Oracle ATG Web Commerce Applications. Jackobs (talk) 05:15, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
