Population

[edit]

Can anyone provide a reliable reference for the population size of 9,000? I could not find one so I have put in the 2001 Census figure instead. Ginyild (talk) 15:11, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Quite right, obviously with its direct London service station people often say they are from Ash Vale, but Ash Wharf is split indistinctly between both stations, so should be mentioned in the Ash article as it is a very small neighbourhood per Template:UK_Places in that civil parish.Adam37 (talk) 13:33, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Parliamentary constituency

[edit]

This is given as Guildford, but http://www.guildford.gov.uk/GuildfordWeb/Council/Elections/Borough+Council+Elections.htm suggests it should be Surrey Heath. Have recent boundary changes affected this? 86.5.94.149 (talk) 12:38, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That council is up for elections in thirds; it is still the relevant council (Council page on Ash Parish and as far as I am aware MP's constituency.

Photos - should be in Ash Value

[edit]

The location of both photos in the infobox is actually outside of the boundary of Ash Vale, at least according to the map on the Ash Parish Council website: http://www.ashpcsurrey.gov.uk/maps/ashwards.htm. If anyone has any photos of places that are actually in Ash Vale, they might be more appropriate than the current choices. Stripybadger (talk) 11:56, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
