Where does Ø fit in the Danish alphabet. My guess is that it does not follow the ISO collating sequence. --Ancheta Wis 12:16, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Danish alphabet: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVXYZÆØÅ (optionally W after V) --Ysangkok 21:08, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
W isn't optional anymore. Dansk Sprognævn elevated it to full letter status in 1980 so the correct order is: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZÆØÅ Valentinian T / C 15:17, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kierkegaard

[edit]

I changed it to say existential instead of existentialist philosopher. Although Kierkegaard would probably have rejected either label, existentialism is definitely not appropriate given Sartre's misinterpretation of existential philosophy and associations between existentialism and politics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jgmk (talkcontribs) 09:59, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

The current title (Assistants Cemetery) is a mistranslation of the Danish name. "Assistens kirkegård" is not a cemetery for assistants but a cemetery that assists other cemeteries (the ones inside the city with limited space). If it must be translated, "Assistance Cemetery" is much more accurate but doesn't seem to be commonly used. Hemmingsen 15:22, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
