Two wives, not one.
[edit]I am adding the name of the second wife of the Prophet Muhammad, Aisha bint Abu Bakr. As the Surah is clearly talking about two wives. See: 66v4: "If you two [wives] repent to Allah , [it is best], for your hearts have deviated. But if you cooperate against him - then indeed Allah is his protector, and Gabriel and the righteous of the believers and the angels, moreover, are [his] assistants."
Evidence of the second wife is too well-documented to textually contend, but the chapter's prologue in 'The Maening Of the Glorious Koran' (A mainstream translation) by Marmaduke Pickthall should suffice as a prime-reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 105.236.192.170 (talk) 21:15, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
