Reference clarification
[edit]Could someone clarify the notation "Ovid IV, 416"? In looking at Ovid, I could not readily determine which work was being referred to here. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 00:57, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
Ovid Bk. 4, cited here, gives the story of Athamas and Ino, but not Athamas and Nephele, nor of the sacrifice and rescue of Athamas' and Nephele's children. What is the text source for these stories? --Jjhe (talk) 16:53, 25 December 2009 (UTC)jjhe
Athamas and Ino
[edit]How could Athamas have gone back to Ino if she'd thrown herself into the sea? Did she survive? Clarification is needed. 2604:2000:EFC0:2:14D7:E2E1:F2D7:C672 (talk) 17:46, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
