Splitting the article
[edit]May I split this article into two: Athens Charter (CIAM) and Athens Charter (Preservation); to avoid confusion between two very different topics? Kenchikuben (talk) 17:06, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
- Support split, the two topics certainly do not belong together. The question I see is, given that there are only two Athen Charters, maybe it would be better to avoid a disambig page and leave the CIAM article -as a primary meaning- named "Athens Charter" and have a DAB link to "Athens Charter (Preservation)". Currently there are 11 wikilinks to this article refering to the CIAM Charter, and 4 to the ICOMOS Charter. In the German Wiki the CIAM article gets 3x more views than the ICOMOS one. --Elekhh (talk) 22:50, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
- I have now split the article using the method suggested above and I've repaired the links to the new Preservation article (from other articles).Kenchikuben (talk) 09:17, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
Brasília
[edit]The section mentioning criticism about Brasília seems quite strange. Citing Niemeyer as if he was the planner of the city instead of Lucio Costa and citing literary parallels (Orwell and Kafka) without much substance giving a subjective tone unfit for this space. 200.198.205.20 (talk) 15:00, 12 May 2014 (UTC) André
