The name is not unusual. If you consult Collins' M25 London Master Street Atlas you'll find all sorts of Avenue Roads. John FitzGerald 13:40, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have some boring work to do today, so I put it off by counting the Avenue Roads in London. There are 40 map references to Avenue Roads in the M25 London Master, two of which are for the same street. However, I came across an unreferenced Avenue Road by accident (page 144, square EE95) while hunting for another Avenue Road. So there could be more than 40. The unreferenced one may be fake - mapmakers sometimes put pretend roads on maps so they can prove a point if anyone copies them! Simonjp80 00:44, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Avenue Road, Bangalore[edit]

There is an "Avenue Road" at Majestic in Bangalore, India. One can find plenty of small shops that sell stationery and school/college textbooks.
